LOVE and HAPPINESS!!!

Today was the long-anticipated wedding day of my friends Emily and Jin!  The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, as was the reception...both were very simple, and yet extremely elegant and classy in their simplicity.  Emily and Jin met on a summer project mission trip in Santa Cruz, CA that I also attended in 2008, and a few other people from the project were at the wedding, in addition to my friend Kelli and I (and the bride and groom, of course).  It was great to catch up with them, and so fun to sit with them at the wedding and reception, since we knew Emily and Jin from the very moments when they first met that summer in California.  We joked that we should have had a VIP table, and our names in the program as "the people who brought them together"...even if technically, God brought them together.  Whatever, as their former roommates and Santa Cruz friends, we should still get some kudos sent our way.

All in all, the whole affair just oozed with happiness.  Emily was absolutely beautiful, and Jin looked so happy to see her come down the aisle, and all the decorations and music and things were just adorable and wonderful.  It was truly lovely.

Here are some pictures from the wedding...so you can see the adorableness as well!

Seeing the newlyweds off with sparklers.  It was slightly terrifying.  But cute.
So yay for happiness and love!!!  And yay for weddings where these things come together beautifully :)
